mini-vacation, part 1

Thursday, May 1, 2008

i love it that with family you don't have to plan big events or excursions to have a good time. we gathered at the ocean and took walks on the beach, splashed in the surf, played with the dogs, soaked in the hot tub, ate my brother's amazing lasagne (which was delicious even without his "secret ingredient"), played a rousing game of jenga, flew some kites and browsed the selection of shells available for free all along the shore.

it was lovely.

Whose jeep?

Did you pick up that beautiful shell?

What's Dave doing?

I'm assuming that's your mom and her husband - ADORABLE!!

the jeep is my bro's…and that's actually him, not dave in that picture! they do look very similar in some ways! it's a little uncanny!
