okay…one of many many reasons I love him so. He fixes things. He researches and figures it out and takes it all apart and puts it all back together. Gotta love a man who can make sense of the insides of a VW!
And yes, he did get it put back together, and it has traveled many many miles since then. I just forgot to take an "after" photo!
ah…but here is my latest mileage evidence…my mom & stepdad have put at least another 1,000 miles on it since we left it with them.
and yes, this is also the evidence of my lack of cleanliness.
Go ahead, ask me how I took that photo while traveling 50mph.

for some reason, this post made someone think about designer shoes & handbags. Hmm...
I'm married to a mechanic & I'm still very much impressed!!! Wow!!! Way to go, Dave!!!
they keep spamming me!!
What the project that was! I have never done a radiator job that was THAT COMPLICATED!
10 yrs of salt on the roads meant really rusty bolts and fasteners that had to be replaced.
It was fun though.
I love that picture! Very admirable work.
How's you get the photo?
You have an excellent blog website, plenty of pictures and great detail and easy to surf. Thanks and have a great day!

I just came upon your blog and thought it was cool, and then saw that you went to good ol' WOL! My husband went there, too! And I was a counsellor on "The Island!" Small world, great big Lord!
Ferree…thanks for stopping by! It is a small world indeed. I loved my time at WOLBI!
Love the flower pictures from the park and the pictures of Dave repairing the VW! Wow! I am definitely impressed. I also love all your sewing!
